SPORT AS A SPACE RITUAL
Every physical attempt is a symbol of ambition and strength. Movement takes shape like a frozen ancient sculpture or a fragment of mystical painting, transporting sporting scenes into mythological and cosmic dimensions.
Athletes are transformed into legendary heroes: running, balancing, and competing, while the boundary between play, rivalry, and the absurd becomes blurred. Circular compositions and repeating forms reflect the cyclical nature of effort, while elemental forces—water, ice, fire, and space—emphasize the scale of human aspiration. The scenes include mythological references: Sisyphus with weights, a lonely laurel wreath symbolizing both victory and the price of effort, and the presence of "the eye," creating a sense of being observed by the universe or society.
